Powerful POS Software for Businesses in Mardan
EncoderPOS is built in Mardan, for the way shops here actually trade: rupee pricing, credit customers, a second counter in the same city, and a till that keeps going through load-shedding. Setup help is local — not a ticket to another timezone.
A POS system that matches how Mardan shops actually sell
Most counters here still mix a cash register, a notebook for credit, and a spreadsheet that is a week behind. EncoderPOS puts billing, stock, purchases and the customer ledger in one place, so the number on the screen is the number you can act on. It is point of sale software in Mardan for general stores, garments, hardware, medical stores and small wholesalers — not a generic till that ignores how people pay.
- Barcode checkout that a new cashier can learn in an afternoon
- Customer credit, limits and installments as first-class records
- Live stock, purchases and supplier balances in one account
- Quoted and billed in Pakistani rupees
The counter keeps working when the power and the line do not
Load-shedding is ordinary in Mardan, and a cloud POS that freezes mid-sale is not usable. EncoderPOS keeps billing locally while the network is down — receipts still print, invoice numbers stay sequential — and syncs when the connection returns. Offline billing is on every plan, including Starter, because it is not an upgrade in this city.
- Offline POS software included on Starter
- Automatic sync on reconnect, nothing to re-key
- Runs in a browser on a UPS-backed laptop or tablet
- No dedicated terminal required
Retail, wholesale and the shops that sit between
A garments shop on Bank Road, a medical store near the hospital, a hardware counter supplying nearby villages, and a small wholesaler sending stock to Swabi or Nowshera all need different details at the till. EncoderPOS is the same inventory and POS platform: batches and expiry where they matter, credit ledgers where they matter, and barcode speed where the queue is the problem.
- Retail POS for single-counter and two-counter shops
- Wholesale billing with customer ledgers and bulk pricing
- Pharmacy and medical-store workflows for batches
- Inventory management that moves with every sale and GRN
Setup from the team that builds it
Encoder Technologies — the company behind EncoderPOS — is based in Mardan. That means product import, opening stock and the first week of trade can happen with someone who already works here, in English or Urdu, rather than a remote playbook. Growing usually means a second outlet in the city before a second city: each branch keeps its own stock and staff while you compare them side by side.
- Spreadsheet import for products, customers and opening stock
- Support in English and Urdu
- Per-branch stock, pricing and permissions
- 7-day free trial, no card
Questions from businesses in Mardan
Is EncoderPOS suitable as POS software in Mardan?
Yes. Pricing is in rupees, billing continues through connectivity outages, customer credit is built in, and the team that builds EncoderPOS is based in Mardan — so setup and support are local.
What does a POS system cost for a shop in Mardan?
Starter is priced for a single shop; Growth covers up to three branches. Every plan includes a 7-day free trial with no card. See the pricing page for current rupee figures.
Will it work during load-shedding?
The software keeps billing while the internet is down and syncs when it returns. You still need power at the counter — a laptop or tablet on a UPS is the usual arrangement.
Can I run a second shop in Mardan on the same account?
Yes. Each branch keeps its own stock, pricing and staff. Transfers between outlets are recorded, and the owner sees a consolidated view.
Do you help move data from my current till or spreadsheet?
Yes. Products, categories, suppliers, customers and opening stock import from a spreadsheet, and we help map the columns during setup.
